This course extends students’ experience with functions. Students will investigate the properties of polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; develop techniques for combining functions; broaden their understanding of rates of change; and develop facility in applying these concepts and skills. Students will also refine their use of the mathematical processes necessary for success in senior mathematics. This course is intended both for students taking the Calculus and Vectors course as a prerequisite for a university program and for those wishing to consolidate their understanding of mathematics before proceeding to any one of a variety of university programs.
Welcome to the English Placement Checker site for Rosedale Global High School. Before being accepted into the OSSD program, all English Learners are required to complete 2 short tests to evaluate their ability to write and speak in English.Â

The Mathematics placement test provides school administrators an assessment of the level and measure of a student's skills, proficiency, and knowledge in Mathematics. It is used to determine whether the student has the necessary prerequisites for succeeding in an appropriate math course. This test is diagnostic. The results may place students at a higher level and allow them to get enroll in Advanced Functions 12 at Rosedale Academy.
Entrances Tests are available to students to test their prior knowledge.
